First-Year Support:
Welcome to MSL, 1L's!
Take advantage of the resources we’re offering to help you navigate the first year of law school. The Academic Support office has the following programs in place to help you through the first year:
1L Seminars focusing on first-year study skills, writing skills, and exam skills. (Held during your regularly scheduled writing classes—mandatory attendance!)

Exam Skills Seminars: Help with outlining, note-taking, exam-taking, and reading and writing skills, including practice essay exams with immediate feedback.

Midterm and Final Exam Reviews—ASP tips and techniques, advice from upper-level students, practice tests, and free food!

The ASP Progam Welcomes a New Tutor!
The ASP program welcomes new tutor Alycia Kenney-Montero!
A cum laude graduate of MSL, former participant on MSL's trial advocacy team, and now local attorney, Alycia is sure to provide MSL students with sage advice and insights regarding study skills and techniques, exam prep, and law school academic success. We are excited to have Alycia on board!
Alycia joins tutor Anne Hemingway in the ASP office. Tutoring is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 PM. Email ursula @ Mslaw.edu to sign up for a slot.
