The Academic Support office is here to help you navigate law school as an upper-level law student, and to help you prepare for the bar exam.
Some of the programs we're offering for upper-level students include:
- 2L Brown Bag Lunch/Dinner Series: A structured biweekly event focusing on second-year study skills, writing skills, and exam skills. Bring your lunch/dinner, ask questions, and get advice on law school academics.
- Exam Skills Seminars: Help with outlining, note-taking, exam-taking, and reading and writing skills, plus biweekly practice essay exams with immediate feedback.
- Workshops: Substantive help with your second-year courses.
- 2L Drop-in Hours: The time to ask questions, find out about academic resources, and get help with academics.
- Guided study groups with a 2L focus.
- Midterm and Final Exam Reviews and Practice Exams.
- Special events.
- Individual tutoring and peer-to-peer mentoring programs (come in for a formal evaluation and referral if you’re interested).
- A Complete Resource Library.

- 3L Brown Bag Lunch Series: A structured biweekly event focusing on helping you hone the skills you need to pass the bar—and succeed beyond the bar exam. Bring your lunch/dinner, ask questions, and get advice.
- Bar Exam Skills Seminars and Practice Essay Exams
- 3L Drop-in Hours: The time to ask questions, find out about bar exam resources, and get help with preparing for the bar.
- Individual bar tutoring (come in for a formal evaluation and referral if you’re interested).
- Special events.
- A Bar Exam Resource Library.
