Welcome Back!

Welcome back current MSL students--have a great semester!

The Academic Support office is here to help you navigate law school as an upper-level law student, and to help you prepare for the bar exam.

Some of the programs we're offering for upper-level students include:

  • 2L Brown Bag Lunch/Dinner Series: A structured biweekly event focusing on second-year study skills, writing skills, and exam skills. Bring your lunch/dinner, ask questions, and get advice on law school academics.
  • Exam Skills Seminars: Help with outlining, note-taking, exam-taking, and reading and writing skills, plus biweekly practice essay exams with immediate feedback.
  • Workshops: Substantive help with your second-year courses.
  • 2L Drop-in Hours: The time to ask questions, find out about academic resources, and get help with academics.
  • Guided study groups with a 2L focus.
  • Midterm and Final Exam Reviews and Practice Exams.
  • Special events.
  • Individual tutoring and peer-to-peer mentoring programs (come in for a formal evaluation and referral if you’re interested).
  • A Complete Resource Library.
